I started my career in 1998 at Investec Private Bank, worked there for 2 years primarily focused on the charted accountant market. After 2 years, I joined Liberty Life and over my 18 years, did a multitude of things. I was the investment specialist for Liberty in the Western Cape & George for a number of years. I was also co-owner of a broker franchise towards the end of my tenure. I moved on to Alexander Forbes for a short while on the retail investment side and then spent 5 years at Riscura, who is one of the largest asset consultants in Africa - focusing on small/ medium institutional funds. At Riscura, I was co-head institution discretionary fund management.

I am currently completing a professional certificate in advanced taxation through SAIT (South African Institute of Tax).
